LAMDA TUITION
Starmaker Performing Arts Academy offer training for both LAMDA Acting and LAMDA Musical Theatre exams.
What is a LAMDA qualification?
- LAMDA Acting and LAMDA Musical Theatre lessons work towards graded exams set by the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.
- LAMDA Acting exams are designed to develop the skills necessary to communicate dramatic text to an audience.
- LAMDA Musical Theatre exams are designed to develop acting skills through song and strengthen vocal techniques and technical skills to become an accomplished singer.
- Learners will develop interpretative skills, technical skills and knowledge of the performance process.
- Students will grow in vocal and physical confidence, developing self-expression and will learn to work creatively.
- Children who do not wish to take part in the exams can still attend and learn the same techniques and skills.
What are LAMDA exams good for?
- LAMDA exams are accredited by the government and as such are worth credits but are also worth UCAS points, useful for university and college entrance, in their higher grades (grades 6,7 and 8). These grades would be taken by teenage students.
- Once you have passed a LAMDA exam, you will have gained a qualification that is recognised all over the world and can be added to CV’s and university applications.
